i havent written for a long time.. its 1 am and im just getting off the phone with randy and im bored, and most def. not sleepy.. im losing touch with alot of my friends latley, but i am more involved (in general) than i have ever been before.. its a nice change..a change that makes me... sleepy?... i dont know.. anyway.. umm let me give you some back ground on swimteam..

to qualify for a state meet in the 100 meter back stroke you have to have a time of 1:16.00 not even a tenth of a second can compete in the state meet.. not even a 1:16.01 can swim it..

a 100 back stroke is four laps in one min. and sixteen seconds.. annnnnway.. my freshman year.. i could do four laps in a time of 1:25.00... pretty damn slow if you ask me.. anyway on to sophmore year..my best time for sophmore year was 1: 16.50 ... which is bullshit..i didnt get to compete in states because of half of a fucking second.. it was bullshit..

this is my juinor year.. and ive been working my ass off... and hopefully its showing..anyway, at a meet about a week ago swam my 100m Bk in a new personal best of 1:16.39... still not states,

but the story does come out on an unusually nice high-note.. at the most recent swim meet.. caribou vs. ellsworth, i not only came in second in the 100m Bk.. but i made a new best time 1:15.38.... I MADE STATES!!! all i could do was cry and pant hysterically when i pulled my then dead and lactic acid filled body out of the pool.. its what ive been working for, for three years now..feels good to scratch that goal off the list of things that i wanted to do in high school.. now i have to start training for The Maine State Meet, which is to be held at Orono.. feels good to have that out of the way, ever since freshman year, every race was to try to qualify, even if i had no chance, i still had to try... so im here, where i want to be, and i can relax.. but still go all out.. hope that wasnt just incoherant rambling.. its nice to waste some web page space everyonce in a while.. i miss you too hojo. and thank you K.T.- for the comments on my paintings... that means alot, its a passion of mine
